Create Coupon Labels on Your Press

A progressive label printer added the capability of creating piggy-pack / peel-and-reveal type labels to their list of capabilities. Two prime labels are printed across from each other, then the back label is “looped-over” on top of the front label creating the two-layer coupon label.

Servo Conversion News:

The Conic Tension Control System on this Mark Andy press failed and there is no longer factory support for the Conic equipment. We removed the Conic system replacing it with an Allen Bradley servo package to control the three tension zones.

Turn Your Veteran Press Into a Digital Finisher

Servo drive a rotary die station of a veteran press to create a digital finisher. Overprint varnish or laminate and reregister die cut utilizing your existing inventory or tooling. Another option is to convert the sheeter die station to servo reregister to sheet digital printing.

This Shingle Conveyor System will soon be collecting multiple streams of sheeted labels at 400 FPM.

A Telstar Rotary Screen Unit was recently added to this Mark Andy 2200 press. The unit prints from 12.00” to 18.25” using screens from Gallus, Kocher-Beck, or Lebanon Valley Engravers. The web travels between print stations so that no flexo colors are sacrificed. It attaches to the press through existing tapped holes in the top of the print frames and is easily re-sequenced.
