The Health & Beauty category of our industry is so important and lucrative we are repeating this feature from our last month’s story. This press produces pill cards in one pass with features including: our 50” Diameter Unwind, a De-curl Unit, front & back UV Flexo Printing, Rotary Die Cutting, Slug Evacuation, Water Based Adhesive Application, Lamination, Telstar’s exclusive Pattern Hot Melt Printing, Die Cut Sheeting, Matrix Chopping and Evacuation plus Shingling.
Telstar Custom Press for Printed Electronics
This Telstar custom purpose press prints silver conductive inks on carbon loaded vinyl. running continuously with KTI turret equipment at both ends. The printing processes are Flexo and Rotary Screen. Telstar’s servo system has four tension zones to manage extensible vinyl material. The chemistry is impinged air dried at a prescribed rate.
Custom Engineered Sticky Trap Full-Frame Press
Designed to manufacture sticky insect and rodent traps the processes include: UV Flexo, Digital Integration, Multiple Die Cut Stations, Slot Die Adhesive Application + Over-Laminate, Web Chilling, Die-Cutting and Product Shingling.
Laminate & Re-Register Die Cut Pre-Printed Products
Telstar Auto Register is so finely tuned that the machine starts & stops without losing register. This precision produces sequentially numbered products without losing the sequence. Liner or self-wound laminates can be applied to the pre-printed web. After matrix stripping, the finished product can either be rewound or sheeted with the Rotary Sheeter controlled with Auto-Register. A Splice Table, Lateral Die Adjustment, and Die Pressure Monitors are included. A safety light curtain allows access to the control console preventing reaching into the process zone. A built-in die hoist makes changing tools safe and easy.
Finishing Press for Thin Film Candy Wrappers
Producing highly decorated candy wraps is the dedicated function of the one-of-a-kind press custom engineered and manufactured by Telstar. The Servo-Driven Chill Drum equipped DecoMod™ Multi-Decorator creates preprinted digitally and gravure printed film with Cold Foil, Cast & Cure, UV Flexo spot or flood varnish and both wet and dry laminations. The decorated web is slit into multiple lanes and re-wound on the Dual Spindle Rewind.
