Telstar’s Heated Flexo Station
This unique heated flexo station features a heated print cylinder, heated anilox, and heated enclosed chamber inking system. A heated pail with internal stirring cycles the heated ink through heated hoses.
All heated features have thermocouple feed-back to maintain constant set-point temperature.
During a stop cycle the print cylinder comes off of impression and the anilox continues to rotate to maintain constant wetting and temperature.
After printing, the web travels over a chill roller and then through a heat exchanger that is mounted on the backside of the tower.
